What laptop(s) to buy for workplaces? Hardware.Waited 1, 2, and 3 days and the old email was still t. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to work as expected. I created the Tag, and the Policy and applied it to the mailbox. Hi everyone,I have a retention policy to delete emails from one mailbox after 1 day. Retention Policy on Office 365 to delete email daily not working Cloud Computing & SaaS.Mimecast are also being uncharacteristically slow in responded to my support request.ĭoes anyone have any experience with this and may be able to advise? Mimecast doesn't seem to have an option to set the classification and as it is generated by Mimecast and doesn't go through our Exchange (365) I can't even apply an outbound transport rule to strip it. I have tried creating a mailbox level rule to strip the classification off, unfortunately no such rule exists anymore. Powershell commands on the recipient mailbox is unacceptable for the same reason. ![]() I have seen a handful of suggestions on the internet, unfortunately they rely on creating a transport rule on the recipients mail server, this is not feasible as we can't have every single one of our clients creating a rule just to accommodate a service we are "imposing" on them. Mimecast of course automatically tags the notifications as Private. Unfortunately we have discovered that Outlook does not display messages tagged as "Private" sent to shared mailboxes, OWA does though. These are typically sent to shared HR or OH department mailboxes. We recently rolled out Mimecast Secure Messaging and are using this to send Confidential Medical Data to our clients.
